Join us for a guided discussion among your peers as to how fundraising must change in order to meet the needs of a new world.

We will address topics such as equity, community-centric fundraising, how we can best serve our community, shifting power away towards our community through effective fundraising, and whatever else you decide…

Julia A. Bennett is a SoCal native with a passion for helping individuals and organizations find their voice, and harness it powerfully for social good. As strategist and coach, she focuses on transformation, capacity building, and scale-up activities, and how those activities integrate with effective communications and public policy. She owns and operates J.B. Strategic Communications, a bi-coastal consulting and coaching firm supporting nonprofit and corporate clients, and teaches private and university communications and business courses to nonprofits, startups, and entrepreneurs in the social impact space. She holds a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Northeastern University and has a combined 16 years in the business strategy and communications fields. Julia serves on multiple Boards, including UCRx, CBU, and executive board for Rotary, AAUW, Muslim Family Foundation.
